Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh is seen giving blunt statement regarding the current Indian team. Yuvraj has been spending his quarantine days pretty nicely, by uploading his Instagram live session. Yuvraj, who retired from international cricket on 2019 had a remarkable career and is considered as one of the ODI greats.
Yuvraj Singh’s recent Instagram live session with Mohammed Kaif left the fans frenzy. The cricketer duo remembered their old days, and their thoughts on current Indian team. Yuvraj is a flamboyant character, while Kaif is a very much restraint person, but still the duo shares a good repo. The duo about old U-19 days, and how they used to enjoy the game then. India lifted the U-19 world cup for the first time under the captaincy of Mohammed Kaif and Yuvraj Singh was one of the strongest pillar of the team.
But the biggest highlight of the session was when, Yuvraj asked Mohammed Kaif about, what he thinks about the discipline of new players in the current Indian team to which Kaif replied by saying, “He has spend two years with Virat Kohli in RCB camp and has seen him grow. By the time he finishes his career he will be the one of the greatest of all time, but he has also seen players who gets deviated from their path and shifts their focus to other things”.
Yuvraj has earlier talked about how discipline is missing among the new players in the current Indian team. The respect the junior players had for their seniors in their time, is rarely seen now. The cricketer duo also talked about commercialisation of Cricket since IPL has started. The Cricket has completely changed since then.
Yuvraj and Mohammed Kaif also recalled their innings in Lords in 2002, NatWest final where an exceptional knock from both of them lead the team across the finishing line.
That innings marked the beginning of both the cricketers and how it raised a belief among the Indian fans.
Both the cricketers were recently seen, playing road safety charity match to raise the awareness of road safety.
