On a Press Briefing yesterday, US president Donald Trump threatens to hold WHO funding ( World Health Organisation). Trump said “We’re going to put a hold on money spent to WHO.”
He said “The W.H.O. really blew it. For some reason, funded largely by the United States, yet very China centric. We will be giving that a good look. Fortunately I rejected their advice on keeping our borders open to China early on. Why did they give us such a faulty recommendation?”
Why Donald Trump angry on WHO
China informed WHO that they identified a new virus from Coronavirus family on 31st December 2019. China claims that viruse isn’t transmitting through human to human and without even sending any team to China, without any proper research WHO believes the claims from China.
China in the past already misinformed the world about SARS-COV. SARS appeared in 2002 in China. It spread worldwide within a few months, although it was quickly contained, even after bad track record WHO blindly believes on Chinese claims.
Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel #coronavirus (2019-nCoV) identified in #Wuhan, #China????????. pic.twitter.com/Fnl5P877VG

On 20 January 2020, Chinese doctors confirmed that Coronavirus is transmitting through human but even after this confirmation WHO didn’t released any travel advisory for the people who travelling to China.
On 31 January 2020, Donald Trump said he wants limit some travel from China because of the virus. At the time, WHO said that “restricting the movement of people and goods during public health emergencies is ineffective in most situations and may divert resources from other interventions.”
Again on 2 February 2020, The director general of the World Health Organization was urged countries to not to close their borders to foreigners traveling from China, At the time China had more 17,000 Coronavirus case.
WHO declares Coronavirus as a Pandemic on 11 March 2020 which was a delayed decision as Coronavirus already spread in 114 Countries around the world and 118,000 cases at the time.
Finally, we can not forget the controversial relationship between Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus (WHO Chief) and China.
The careless attitude of WHO towards China and Coronavirus is the best suited reason behind US President Donald Trump statement. Although Trump may had other intentions behind the statement.
