War which released on 2nd October, today crossed the 300Cr mark and becomes the first Hindi film of 2019 to do so.
The Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer WAR hits the 300cr mark on Day 19 of its release with a collection of ₹5.60 cr on it’s 3rd Sunday which takes it’s domestic box collection (all languages included) to ₹301.75 cr. Worldwide collection of War is estimated to be around ₹445 cr right now.
The film entered the 100 cr club in three days of its release. The extended opening weekend collection of the film was ₹166.25 cr and is now has the highest opening weekend collection for any 2019 Bollywood film. The film by crossing ₹200 crore in its opening week has become the fastest Bollywood film of 2019 to achieve this feat.
War beats the previous highest grossing Hindi film of 2019, Kabir singh this past Tuesday which has a box office collection of ₹278.24 cr.
War becomes the 8th Hindi language movie to join the ₹300cr club and now holds the 7th place in the Highest Domestic grossing Hindi language films.
It crossed Salman Khan starrer Sultan’s domestic box office collection of ₹300.47 cr today.
War is also now the highest grossing Hindi film in Overseas market in 2019 with a collection of ₹85.70 cr. Lifetime collection of War might stand around ₹315cr.
The movie is running strong and is facing small declines in weekdays. But it’s business will take a massive drop after the release of Housefull 4 this Friday. Housefull 4 will take most of the screens after 25 October.
