In a recent Instagram live session RCB team mates Virat Kohli and Ab de Villiars picked MS Dhoni as combined IND-SA playing XI captain.

Virat Kohli and Ab de Villiars shares a great bond on and off the field. Virat and Villiars have grown together as a player. Virat in many of his interviews said, “Ab de Villiars is a great source of inspiration and I have a lot of respect for the guy”. Virat and Villiars are the ambassadors of the IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore and the fan following that the team possess, is because of them.

In their Instagram live session Virat Kohli and Ab de Villiars together picked a combined India-South Africa playing XI and they included many veterans into the team. They picked Sachin and Rohit as Opener, Virat Kohli and Ab de Villiars as number 3 and 4, Jacques Kallis and Yuvraj Singh as the all rounder, MS Dhoni as captain and wicket-keeper, Y Chahal as the only spinner, Bumrah, Dale Steyn and Rabada as the fast bowlers.

The duo also shared some amazing stories off the field and the moment they shared in the dressing room. The duo also talked about Yuzvendra Chahal and referred to him as a “clown”. Virat Kohli suggested ABD to watch his funny tik tok videos. While ABD spoke how Yuzvendra Chahal disturbs him at night by video calling him.

The duo also spoke about how things will be completely different from now and how during this time he has been looking at things differently and have more clear perspectives. Virat Kohli said, “I am quite optimistic that at some stage we will definitely have something because things are moving in the right direction. When things are back to normal, I don’t see things getting back to like they were before everything happened. I think there are gonna be a lot of changes. A lot of discipline has to be shown by people everywhere. What I have seen in this phase is there are a lot of times when you get egoistic and you think ‘I’m doing this and I’m doing that’ but in reality, you are controlling nothing.”

Currently, IPL has been postponed indefinitely and it seems difficult for the fans to witness the greatness of Virat Kohli and Ab de Villiars again in IPL 13. ABD has been out of international cricket for a long time.
