UN chief Antonio Guterres salutes countries like India for helping others in the fight against Coronavirus pandemic.
Official Spokesperson of the UN, Stéphane Dujarric has said, days after India sent supplies of critical life saving drug Hydroxychloroquine to several nations, including the United States.

India grants to supply life savings drugs like Hydroxychloroquine and Paracetamol to 55 Countries as a medical aid and on commercial export too.
Number of countries including the US, Mauritius and Seychelles have already received the drug in the past few days while several others will get it by the weekend, they said.
Export of these drugs in times of Covid-19 outbreak may seem as India “medical diplomacy” that has been working seamlessly.
Hydroxychloroquine is seen as a possible treatment drug against Covid-19. The demand for this Anti Malaria in the world has been rapidly increasing in last few days.
India is supplying Hydroxychloroquine to Zambia, Dominican Republic, Madagascar, Uganda, Burkina Faso, Niger, Mali Congo, Egypt, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Ecuador, Jamaica, Syria, Ukraine, Chad, Zimbabwe, France, Jordan, Kenya, Netherlands, Nigeria, Oman and Peru.
India already supplied Anti Malaria drug to neighbouring countries like Afghanistan, Bhutan, Bangladesh Nepal, Maldives, Mauritius, Sri Lanka and Myanmar except Pakistan as of now.
