In Play Store, when people rate the app, they also post a review, where they answer why they are rating, do they love the app or not and more? In this case, most of the users used bad language and unexplainable statements in their reviews which at the end doesn’t make any sense.

Now, what Tiktok did here is a very simple thing. They just deleted all those reviews which found were false, abusive, harmful, assaulting and unidentified as per Google guidelines. When the rating was 1.2 stars, there were 28M reviews and now when it has 4.4 stars, there are only 20M reviews.

These actions by Tiktok helped them get back to normal. All the unnecessary 1 star reviews are now deleted. Tiktok lite is also back to 3.8 stars from 1.1 stars. Now it seems like, all the controversies and allegations on the app fell short. Let’s see what the future holds for Tiktok.
