Tamil Blockbuster “Bigil” which released back in 2019, became one of the highest grossing Tamil movie in the Box office. The movie crossed 100 Cr mark within 3 days and grossed nearly 300 Cr worldwide. The movie was directed by Atlee Kumar and casts Thalapathy Vijay in lead.
According to Republic World, though being one of biggest and most celebrated film in terms of Box office numbers the producers have incurred a loss of 20 Cr. The film was made on a huge scale with humongous scale of production and budget. If reports are to be believed Bigil Production Cost amounted to more than 150 Cr. According to reports the huge chunk of unneeded money was spent on a football scene in the movie which resulted in increase in budget of the film.Bigil will recently cross 100 days in Box office.
