During de-escalation process in between India & China in Galwan Valley, a violent face-off took place at yesterday night with casualties. Three Army Personnel including an officer lost their lives in the face-off.
Senior military officials of India and China currently meeting to defuse situation in Ladakh, Army said.
“During the de-escalation process underway in the Galwan Valley, a violent face-off took place yesterday night with casualties. The loss of lives on the Indian side includes an officer and two soldiers. Senior military officials of the two sides are currently meeting at the venue to defuse the situation,” the army said in a official statement.
Hundreds of soldiers have been ranged against each other in the remote snow desert of Ladakh since April in the most serious border flare-ups for years after Chinese patrols advanced into Indian side of the de facto border.
Sources says no firing took place. Indian soldiers could have been beaten, stoned and drowned to death in Pangong Tso lake in Ladakh. There are Casualties on both the sides.
China Foreign Ministry calls on India to not take unilateral actions or stir up trouble at the LAC, as reported by Times Now.
For the past few days the talks between Indian & Chinese commanders in the Galwan region of eastern Ladakh, continues to reduce tensions between both the countries but now this incident will surely going escalates tensions over LAC (Line of Actual Control).
