The SAB TV sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah which is being running from the past 12 years on television is going to complete 3000 episodes today. Actors of the show posted videos of them thanking the audience for their continuous love and support.

The first episode of TMKOC was aired on July 28, 2008. Just in a year, the show gained huge popularity and became a household name across the country. In these 12 years, audiences were provided with hundreds of stories that not just only entertained them but also aware them about several social issues.

The show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah which is created by Asit Kumar Modi is based on the column “Duniya Ne Oondha Chashmah” written by famous Indian writer & columnist Shri Taarak Mehta. Taarak Ji passed away in March, 2017 at the age of 87.

Today, on September 24, the show will air it’s 3000th episode on SAB TV. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the longest running show on Indian television. To celebrate this huge milestone, the creators of the show has planned to giveaway some big surprises to the fans.
