SRK requests people to come together against Covid-19 fight, on Global Citizen live event

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan shared a powerful message requesting people to come together and help the frontline healthcare workers in these difficult times. The live event, One World: Together at home was aired on different digital channels around the world.

All the big celebrities across the planet came together to raise fund for the healthcare workers as there is shortages for PPE kits and many safety equipment. Along with Shah Rukh Khan the other artists who participated in the event are Lady Gaga, Paul McCartney, Lizzo, Billie Eilish, Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

Shah Rukh Khan talked about how we can fight this global pandemic, and now it’s time take action. He requested all the private leaders to come together and help the countries in fight against this pandemic. Shah Rukh Khan has been doing his bits to help the country. Shah Rukh has donated 25000 PPE kits, and will continue doing so. He also donated in Prime Minister Relief Fund and Chief Minister Relief fund and also providing foods and meals to the lower class of the society.

Appreciating the work done by the health workers WHO and Global Citizen has come together, and will donate the funds raised from the live concert to WHO’s Solidarity Response Fund.

The Global Citizen thanked the Bollywood actor for his humble gesture and creating awareness regarding coronavirus.
