Indian fast bowler Sreesanth is all set to make a comeback in the cricket field as Kerala Domestic team hints on the player’s return.
S.Sreesanth was ban from all forms of cricket for life after he was found guilty of spot fixing in IPL 2013, but later Sreesanth’s ban was reduced to 7 years. Sreesanth ban will be lifted on September this year and the pacer will again have the opportunity to return back to the field and prove his worth. Kerala Cricket Association has decided to consider him for selection in their domestic team.
Tinu Yohannan, Kerala’s Head Coach said to IANS, “The KCA has decided that he will be considered for selection once his ban ends in September.” He further added, “However, his selection into the team will depend on his fitness levels. He has to prove his fitness. Right now, nothing is happening outdoors in terms of cricket activities. Unless we go out on the field and see him play, test his fitness, its difficult to say at the moment”.
