Spain daily CoVID-19 death toll below 100, first time in last 2 months

Spain’s daily death toll from the Covid-19 was 87 on Sunday, the health ministry said, for the first time in last two months Spain daily death toll dropped below 100.

Total deaths from the virus climbed to 27,650, while the number of confirmed cases edged up to 231,350 from 230,698, the ministry said.

Spain. is the third most infected country after USA and Russia in the world and most infected country in Europe followed by United Kingdom, Italy and France.

On Sunday Spain record 1,214 new Coronavirus cases bringing up the total number of Covid-19 tally to 54,124.

Yesterday Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has stated that he wants the state of emergency to be extended by a month. “Prudence should be the rule,” he said. “Therefore, the government will request a new extension of the state of emergency that is intended to be the last one and will cover until the end of the de-escalation [period]. Therefore, instead of 15 days, we are going to request that it be around one month.”

As of now 195,945 peoples successfully recovered from Coronavirus in the country and Spain conduct total 3,037,840 Coronavirus test as on Sunday.
