Indian short film ‘Bittu’ gets shortlisted for Oscars 2021

A huge news for Indians as the Karishma Dube directed short film Bittu moves one step forward in the Oscars 2021 race. It got shortlisted in the live action short film category among nine other films from all around the world and is now very close to get a nomination.

Karishma Dube has also written and produced this short film. It is a story about two girls Bittu and Chand, who shares a very close friendship but by an accidental poisoning in their mid-day meal at the school things got pretty ugly. This 17 minutes short film has an innocence in its storytelling which keeps the emotions intact.
