Saroj Khan passed away at the age of 71 in Mumbai due to Cardiac arrest.

Ace choreographer Saroj Khan today left for a heavenly ride leaving all her fans in disbelief and sorrow. Saroj Khan was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai on June 20 and she took her last breath on Friday, June 3. The choreographer in all these years made numerous stars dance and acted as a guide for young actors. Known for choreographing big stars like Madhuri Dixit, Sri Devi, Kajol in movies like Tezaab, Baazigar, Chandni and many more.

Not only the Choreographer made a name for herself through her dance moves but also acted as a guiding light for young actors and actresses. Under her several choreographer like Farah Khan grew up and went onto achieve big things in Bollywood. She helped numerous people in many ways, here we will look at instances where big stars thanked Saroj Khan.

The tale of Madhuri Dixit and Saroj Khan will always be remembered. The two lady entirely changed the film industry. The iconic pair together delivered many hit songs like, “Ek Do Teen” and many more. The Choreographer made Madhuri a star that she is today. The vision of Saroj Khan and the dance moves of Madhuri Dixit brought a gleaming light in the silver screen. Madhuri Dixit in many instances has talked about Saroj Khan and how the choreographer helped her during the initial years of her career. Madhuri mourned the demise of her Guru tweeting, “I’m devastated by the loss of my friend and guru, Saroj Khan. Will always be grateful for her work in helping me reach my full potential in dance. The world has lost an amazingly talented person. I will miss you???? My sincere condolences to the family. #RIPSarojji”.


Shah Rukh Khan

The King Of Bollywood in many instances have mentioned how Saroj Khan should get the credit for his famous pose goes to Saroj Khan. Shah Rukh Khan said, “During shooting of King Uncle I was not able to do dance moves, I asked Saroj Ji if I can do this step and she dearly said, son do this”. Shah Rukh also once mentioned about how Saroj Khan’s words of wisdom changed Khan’s way of looking at things.


The ace choreographer made Kajol dance to her tunes in movies like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayege, Baazigar and many more. The choreographer was known as lively, Happy personality who would keep her actresses happy. Kajol once said, “Saroj Ji is brilliant dance master and it’s a proven fact, but what stands with me is her patience with me”. On Saroj Khan’s demise Kajol tweeted, “RIP to the most talented coolest choreographer ever! She taught me sooooo much that I always used everywhere in so many other ways. When she danced it was like watching a whole book ! Everything that she wanted to say was there so clearly on her face and in her body language”.

Other than that many Bollywood actors like Bhumi, Ayushmann, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar mourned to the demise of legendary choreographer.
