Cases of CoronaVirus is rising day-by-day all over world including India. To tackle this pandemic, companies, celebrities are coming forward to help people.
Smartphone brands are also playing great roles in India. Xiaomi has already pledged to donate ₹15 Crores to fight against this pandemic in India. Of this, it will donate ₹10 crores to the PM’s relief funds and CM’s relief funds across various states. They are also supplying N95 masks to the hospitals. Other brands have also donated for this mankind. Brands like realme, oppo, vivo has also contributed to fight against CoronaVirus.
Now, Samsung came forward and pledged to donate ₹20 crores to the Union Government and State Government. ₹15 crores will be donated to the PM Cares Fund and ₹5 crores to the UP Government and Tamil Nadu Government.
Samsung India’s Contribution to Fight Against Pandemic
Samsung India employees have already for their contribution, total contribution will be collected by Samsung and then it will be donated to the PM Cares Fund in coming weeks.
In Noida, they are working with the administration. They have supplied thousands of preventive masks and PPE(Personal Protective Equipment) Kits. In every PPE kit, there is Surgeon Gown, Face Mask, Gloves, Preventive Eye wear, Hood Cap and Shoe Cover, as Samsung India reports.
They are supporting the hospital authorities by providing Infra-red Thermometers, Air Purifiers. South Korean automobile company, Hyundai Motors also donated ₹5 crores to Tamil Nadu CM Relief Fund. And now, they have contributed Personal Protective Equipment and Dry Rations in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu to support Healthcare & Law Enforcement officials .
