The live event aims to mobilise people to cut down on greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. The event is set to happen in 10th October and will be a 5 hour long event. Prajakta Koli said to IANS, “We can inspire others through action because there is no hope without action. I am delighted to partner with Countdown to inspire every company and country and engage citizens in actions that decouple carbon from our economy and way of life in this decade”.
This is not the first time Prajakta will be seen raising awareness on social issues. Earlier the YouTuber was invited by Obama Foundation to speak on Girls Education and raise awareness. Her visit to UN Headquarters in New York in 2019 as a delegate to participate in the International Day Of Tolerance made all Indians proud.
Her quirky jokes and comic timing made her millennials favourite. Prajakta’s YouTube channel Mostly Sane has more than 5 million subscribers and the YouTuber is often applauded for her acting skills and portraying different characters in front of camera with same passion and dedication.
