Prime Minister Narendra Modi finally quit Chinese social media page Weibo after 59 Chinese Apps were banned by India, Top Govt sources confirm.
Weibo was among the 59 banned Chinese apps. It has been seen a delay in deleting PM Modi account in Weibo.
For VIP accounts, Weibo has a more complex procedure to quit which is why an official process to deactivate the account was initiated. That’s why there was a great delay in granting this basic permission.
However Weibo is still available in Google Play store to download in India.
