Pakistan does it again. Pakistan brings a resolution in their National Assembly against France and decides to recall their ambassador from France. But the only problem is that they doesn’t have an ambassador to France right now as reported by The News.
The National Assembly on Monday asked their government through unanimous resolution to recall its ambassador from France in protest against blasphemy by French President.
Pakistan last ambassador posted in Paris, Moin-ul-Haq left France three months ago after he transferred and posted as ambassador to China.
Foreign Minister Qureshi, who was among the movers of the resolution in the National Assembly on Monday evening – is aware of the fact that the their embassy in France is without an ambassador but he didn’t oblige the house by passing on the information amid the heat of discussion regarding the situation.
Well-placed sources told The News that currently, Muhammad Amjad Aziz Qazi, who is deputy head of mission in the Paris embassy, is looking after the affairs of the mission being the senior-most diplomat in Paris.
This is not the first time when Pakistan involved in these type of blunder. Earlier on 10 October 2020, Foreign Minister Qureshi said that, Pakistan would be on the white list of the FATF soon.
But the fact is White List didn’t even exist in FATF. There is only two list present in FATF Grey & Black list. However, after the meeting of FATF, but they remains in the grey list.
