Pakistan admits Balakot Airstrike by IAF lead 300 casualties

A former Pakistan diplomat Zafar Hilaly during a television debate confessed that the Pakistani Air Force had failed in its mission to bombed India’s brigade headquarters in retaliation after the Balakot Airstrike carried out by the Indian Air Force.

Zafar Hilaly served as a Pakistan ambassador to Yemen, Nigeria and Italy. He turned into a political analyst after retirement and frequently writes for newspapers such as the Daily Times, The Express Tribune, and The News International. Additionally, he makes frequent appearances on TV debates.

Talking about the Balakot Airstrike by India, he said, “by crossing the international boundary India committed an act of war in which they intended to kill at least 300 people.”

“We targeted their high command. That was our legitimate target because they are men of the military,, but instead we bombed football ground” Hilaly said about PAF retaliatory strike.

Zafar Hilaly slams Pakistani Air Force for weak retaliatory strike on India and said it was a failed response that didn’t meet its goal.

“We subconsciously accepted that a surgical strike — a limited action — did not result in any casualty. Now we have subconsciously told them that, whatever they will do, we’ll do only that much and won’t escalate,” he added on a weak response.

For the very long Pakistan use to say that their mission was not to destroy any valuable assets of India, rather to deployed bombs in open grounds.

Indian Air Force conducted Balakot Airstrike in response to the terror attack carried out by Jaish-e- Mohammad (JeM) in Pulwama in which 40 CRPF personnel lost their lives.

After Balakot Airstrike PAF retaliated on 27 February 2019, their aim was to target India’s Brigade Headquarter but 2 Sukhoi SU-30 MKI of Indian Air Force successfully protected Army’s brigade headquarters in Jammu and Kashmir’s Nowshera sector.
