According to CNN reports, The US is monitoring intelligence that suggests North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong Un, is in grave danger after undergoing a previous surgery, according to a US official with direct knowledge.
Kim recently missed the celebration of his Grandfather’s birthday on April 15 which is very unusual, and at the same time it raised questions about Kim current health situation.
Kim Jong Un last appeared in public was on April 11. Still there is no official confirmation from North Korea on Kim’s current situation. North Korea strictly controlled any information surrounding to its leaders, so it’s really hard to verify the details.
There’s a lot of speculation in public that who could become the next ruler of North Korea ? If not Kim Jong Un.
Kim Yo Jong
Kim Yo Jong is the most favourable contender who can become the next heir North Korea. Kim Yo Jong is the sister of Kim Jong Un. She is most visible person in Kim regime. She made her first public appearance in a trip to South Korea for Winter Olympics in 2018.
Although in the History of North Korea, a women Never control the regime. So it’s questionable whether the elites will support a women to become Supreme Leader of the country.
Kim Han Sol
Kim Han Sol born 16 June 1995, and the eldest son of Kim Jong Nam. Kim Jong Nam was the elder Half brother of Kim Jong Un and he was was the unofficial heir apparent until 2001.
On 13 February 2017, Kim Jong-nam assassinated at Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia, after being exposed to VX nerve agent. It was widely believed that he was killed on the orders of his half-brother Kim Jong-un.
As of now, no one knows where Kim Han Sol currently living in the world, and it was very unclear whether Han will able to become next heir of Noth Korea or not.
Kim Jong Chol
Kim Jong Chol is the only surviving brother of Kim Jong Un. Although his chance to become the successor of North Korea is very low. Kim Jong Chol maintained a distance from North Korea politics and he is just a guitarist.
Kim also have three Children but they are too young to become a ruler of the country.
Though South Korea officials refused the reports showing Kim is in critical situation and said that, “no unusual signs supporting reports about his health conditions have been detected.”
