Nepal Armed Forces open Fires at Indian Farmers, 1 dead and 2 injured

One Indian farmer killed and two other injured with bullet wounds at India-Nepal border as Nepal fires at Indian farmers. Incident took place this morning today at Sitamarhi at the Narayanpur border between India and Nepal.

The incidents took place nearly 8:40 AM in the morning. According to ANI the deceased identified as Dikesh Kumar was 25 years old, shot in a chest, while the injured were identified as Umesh Ram, who was shot on his right arm, and Uday Thakur, who was shot in the right thigh.

“At around 8:40 a.m a family was going to Nepal. They were stopped by Nepali security personnel at the border & asked to go back which triggered a verbal altercation. Nepal security personnel fired around 15 rounds,in which 3 persons were injured&one died,” said Director General SSB Kumar Rajesh Chandra.

“One person has been detained by Nepali security personnel & we’re in talks with them so that they release him&matters don’t escalate. Everything happened in Nepal, not on the Indian side,”

“Nepal security personnel have fired around 15 rounds out of which 10 were in the air. In the firing, 3 persons suffered injuries and one succumbed to injuries,” he added.

Thousands of people in Kathmandu protesting against KP Oli government for mis handling Coronavirus in Nepal, today’s act can also be seen as a weapon to divert attention of the people from Coronavirus to patriotism.

Tension between India and Nepal is rising in these over border disputes. Many believes that the KP Oli government is in control of Communist government of China.
