A MiG-29K of Indian Navy crashed into the Arabian Sea, third MiG-29K crashed within 12 months

MiG-29K of Indian Navy crashed

A MiG-29K Trainer aircraft of Indian Navy operating at sea crashed at 05:00 PM off Goa over the Arabian Sea on Thursday.

As per reports one pilot has been successfully rescued and the second one is missing, search operations is underway to find second pilot.

Indian Navy using helicopter and surface units to find the missing pilot.

A official probe has been ordered to investigate the incident. This is the third crash of MiG-29k in the last one year.

On 23 February 2020, a MiG 29K crashed after being hit by birds over Goa and in 16 November 2020 an another MiG-29K trainer aircraft crashed outside Verna village in South Goa district.
