Every player senior or junior contributed to the team in every way possible. At no point of time during the tournament, MI was seen out of place. While we see teams over dependency on few big players, for MI their domestic players always contributed to the win.

Two young Mumbai Indians batsmen Ishaan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav are among the top runs getters in this year’s IPL. The belief and the confidence that the franchise shows on their players is incredible. The legend Rohit Sharma has once again proved why he is one of the best captain in shorter format. The most successful captain of IPL has played a Captain’s knock today. His knock of 68 runs helped MI to a clinical win. On big day, the big match player proved his worth and temperament. Credit should also be given to Trent Bolt, for giving his team the foundation.  His early breakthroughs helped MI to restrict DC to 156 runs at the end of 20 overs.

On Delhi’s part, the team succumbed to the pressure. In the first 5 overs, DC were pushed to backfoot. But youngsters Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer raised up on the big occasion and took their team to a fightable score. However at end of the first innings MI again fought back and kept Delhi 20-30 runs short.

DC have played good Cricket in this tournament. Two of the most deserving team played the finals and the best team won the tournament. This year’s IPL holds an extremely special place in everyone’s heart. The credit should go to BCCI, IPL Governing Council, Franchises, Player and all the stakeholders for making it happen.
