Finally the Dream 11 IPL 2020 has arrived. The nails have been chewed, the heart rate is high, what a thriller encounter between Delhi Capitals and Kings XI Punjab.

Delhi Capitals defeated Kings XI Punjab by in a stunning superover, however like all these years, how can controversy not be a part of the tournament.

In the third ball of 18th over during Kings XI Punjab’s chase, Mayank Aggarwal (the star of today) ran hard for two, but the square leg umpire called it a short run. However later the replay revealed a completely different story, it was a completely wrong decision by the umpire. Chris Jordan’s bat touched the crease.

This decision of the umpire costed KXIP the match. Since past 2 years the umpiring standards in the IPL have been highly criticized. If you remember the incident of angry Dhoni walking into the field because of miscommunication between players and umpire during CSK Vs RR match in IPL 2019.

Both the team gave their best, but at the end Delhi Capitals stood victorious. The outstanding over by South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada in the super helped Delhi Capitals to seize the win. However the knock played by Marcus Stoinis and his last over spell couldn’t turn any better, both the times the Australian all rounder snatched the victory from the opponent.

However what truly stood out in this match is the way the players gave their all to be on the winning side, and their never give up attitude. Both the teams fought till the end and the game of cricket won.
