North Korean Media: Kim Jong Un expressed his gratitude to workers, amidst health rumours

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un expressed his gratitude to workers building a tourist zone in the east coast region of Wonsan, state media said on Monday.

This report came after strong speculation or rumours confirming that there might be something wring with Kim’s health.

“Supreme Leader Kim Jong un has sent his appreciation to the workers who devoted themselves to building the Wonsan-Kalma tourist zone,” Yonhap News Agency quoted Rodong Sinmun, the North”s main newspaper, as saying in a report.

It is to note that South Korea Officials also denied that there’s something wrong with Kim’s health.

“Our government position is firm,” Moon Chung-in, a special adviser on national security to the South Korean president, Moon Jae-in, said in an interview with CNN on Sunday. “Kim Jong-un is alive and well.”

He added, Kim Jong Un staying in Wonsan a resort town on the country’s east coast since 13 April, and “no suspicious movement have so far been detected.”

From these reports North Korea media try to indicate the world that rumours on Kim’s health is baseless and the leader is perfectly fit.
