After NXT Takeover XXX, we got a new NXT Champion in the form of Karrion Kross who defeated Keith Lee to earn that title. But during that match, Kross suffered a shoulder injury which resulted in, him relinquishing the title on August 26 episode of NXT.

Kevin Kesar a.k.a. Karrion Kross is an American pro wrestler who is currently signed to WWE under their NXT brand. On the main event of NXT Takeover XXX, both Lee and Kross gave their all, to make the night worth it for their fans all around the world. After several high flyers, punches, kicks, drops and smashes later, Kross delivered the final blow and won the NXT Championship.

As per a report, during the match when Keith was delivery a corner Clothesline, Kross suffered a bad shoulder injury. His right collar bone was damaged during that move. But even though he was injured, he went on to deliver couple of dangerous moves including a middle rope Doomsday Saito on Lee and pinned him to claim the win.

After the match, Kross was taken to the medics where he was examined. In the report, it was revealed that he suffered a shoulder separation. Due to that, Kross has to relinquish his title on August 26 episode of NXT. It is very sad to see a newly crowned Champion leaving the game so early and so unwantedly.

Karrion Kross is going to be out for a good time, so that he will get back stronger than before. Fans are comparing, this short title reign of Kross with Finn Balor’s 2016 Universal Championship reign which lasted only for a day due to Finn suffering a shoulder injury during his match with Seth Rollins.

Now that Keith Lee was moved to Monday night RAW and the NXT title is currently vacant, General Manager William Regal has decided to arrange a match for the Championship belt. Next Tuesday, NXT will host a Fatal-4 way 60 minute Iron Man match between Adam Cole, Finn Balor, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa to crown a new Champion.
