The Tejas movie is a story of an Indian Air Force pilot, that will he played by Kangana Ranaut. Film will be written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara, who is making his Bollywood directorial debut with this film.

As we know, Tejas(then LCA) made it’s maiden flight on January, 2001 and was inducted in Indian Air Force on 2016. But till date, Tejas never engaged in any combat operations. So, the film might be fictionalised and also be dramatized because of this reason.

After the release of Janhvi Kapoor’s Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Indian Air Force is getting very strict towards the movies that are telling National Defense stories. Any kind of wrong portrayal or over fictionalisation of any defence body will not be allowed in any movie from on.
