Kaamyaab

Kaamyaab hits the theatres today. The movie is critically acclaimed and was applauded by the media and the industry folks.
Kaamyaab which stars Sanjay Mishra as Sudheer in the lead, depicts the story of a sidekick. Sanjay Mishra plays the role of a side actor who wants something special in his 500th film. Sudheer has been a part of 499 films, and he is in search of something extraordinary in his 500th film, will he be able to find a perfect film is what the story reveals later. A dialogue from the film has become quite famous “ab bus enjoying life, or option bhi  kya hai”.

The movie also casts Deepak Dobriyal, Isha Talvar and Avtar Gill. The movie is directed by Hardik Mehta and produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. Sanjay Mishra in his recent interview stated, “If this film reaches its target audience it would be path breaking, then big stars like Shah Rukh will come front and back these small projects.” Shah Rukh Khan took his twitter to congratulate the makers and request the film lovers to watch this movie. Shah Rukh Khan referred this film as a “small film with big heart”.

The movie opened very poorly in the noon shows infact there were hardly any noon shows. Though the movie received a thumbs up from the media and the critics it is not able to generate the footfall. Some parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar have very limited shows. Mumbai, Delhi circuits have opened fairly well as compared to others. The movie is facing tough competition from Baghi 3. The mass entertainer is doing fairly good in single screen as well as the multiplexes. The film is expected to open between 1 to 2 Cr at Box office. The movie’s targeted audience are multiplex audience and Sanjay Mishra and Deepak Dobriyal are only the known faces from the movie.

Why its important to support these Films?

India has a rich cinema history. Films like kamyaab should be supported and encouraged by the audience, if this film doesn’t match it’s break even point, then from now on no big banners will support these kind of films and we will be responsible for it. If this film doesn’t go up to the level that is capable of, then we have no right to say why Indian Cinema doesn’t produce good movies. This movie if reaches its target audience will surely create wonders at box office.
