Yesterday was the hottest day of summer 2020 in India and it’s nearby countries. Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) reported that Churu, Rajasthan and Jacobabad, Pakistan had recorded a blazing high temperature of 50°C or 122°F on May 26.

Churu is a city in the desert region of Rajasthan state of India. It is known as the gateway to the Thar Desert of Rajasthan. While Jacobabad is a city in Sindh, Pakistan. Jacobabad is considered to be the hottest city in Pakistan.

Jacobabad maintains an average temperature of 45°C in summers. Even though the city has greenery around it , the main reason for this high temp. is the lack water bodies near the city. Jacobabad is not the hottest place in Pakistan. In 2010, Mohenjo Daro, Sindh recorded the highest ever temperature in Pakistan of 53.5°C.
Today the temperature in Churu will be, highest 46°C and lowest 31°C. While the temperature in Jacobabad will hit the highest 48°C and lowest 29°C.
