Is Pakistan creating a flimsy story of ‘Hit and Run’ after detaining 2 Indian staffs

India Pakistan FlagTwo Indian High Commission Officials including a driver were on way to the Islamabad airport to pick up Indian Embassy staff this morning. On the way they were arrested by Pakistani authority for their alleged involvement in ‘hit and run’ accident.

According to news agency ANI, Pakistan side was asked to return the two officials along with the official car to the Indian High Commission immediately.

According to sources, Pakistan was desperate after two ISI operatives from Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi were exposed for spying.

Afterwards Islamabad wanted to carry out similar action and now a flimsy story of hit and run accident might be created by them.

Its all started in the morning when a news came that, two Indian High Commission officials missing in Islamabad, Pakistan.

One vehicle with two Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) drivers had gone out for duty but did not reach the destination.

Soon Government of India officially released statement, “Two Indian High Commission officials are missing since morning while on official work. The matter has been taken up with the Pakistani authorities.”

Both are security officials of India’s CISF, assigned as security to the High Commissioner and other diplomats.

Later on Pakistan’s Charge d’affaires (CDA) was summoned to the Ministry of External Affairs and was issued demarche on the reported arrest of two officials of the High Commission of India in Islamabad as reported in the Pakistani media.

In the demarche to Pakistan’s Charge d’affaires made clear that there should be no interrogation or harassment of the Indian officials. The responsibility for the safety and security of the concerned diplomatic personnel lay squarely with the Pakistani authorities.

Nearly seven hours after they went missing, Pakistani media reported  that the two officials had been arrested in a hit-and-run road accident.
