Apple launched the most awaited phone, iPhone SE. Though, name is not different but newer one is knows as 2nd Generation of iPhone SE. It actually deserves to be known as the 2nd generation of earlier SE.

Apple was about to launch this product in the month of March but due to the CoronaVirus pandemic, they couldn’t. They haven’t wait a lot. They are going to give a portion of Product Red’s revenue to fight against this CoVID-19.

Design of iPhone SE (2nd Generation)

At back there is a beautiful logo of apple at the center and single camera with single LED flash at left. Front panel has a retina HD display with True Tone adjusts and has display size of 4.7 inches. It means 0.7 inches bigger than the earlier one. It features a home button at bottom-center which used to come till the iPhone 8 plus. Home button gives the support of Touch ID, around home button, there is a steel ring which looks good.

It gives the maximum brightness of 625 nits. It has 1334 x 750 pixels resolution at 326 ppi. For protection, it comes with IP67 rating which means you can dip this phone in water for 30 minutes at 1 meter. It has sensors like Touch ID fingerprint sensor, Barometer, Three‑axis gyro, Accelerometer, Proximity sensor and Ambient light sensor.

Front panel also includes the front facing selfie camera and earpiece. iPhone SE features an aerospace-grade aluminum and durable glass design with an all-black front, and is available in black, white and (PRODUCT)RED.

Performance of iPhone SE (2nd Generation)

It is packed with A13 Bionic chip which is fastest as of now in iPhones. Same processor had been used in iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. It clearly indicates that users will not be facing performance issue.

It is capable of being charged wireless with Qi-certified chargers. It gets 50 % charged in 30 minutes. It is available with Wi-Fi 6 and it comes with dual sim support. Yes, you heard right, it provides dual SIM card support, one nano SIM and another eSIM. This thing is going to bring a big smile to the iPhone lovers.

Camera of iPhone SE (2nd Generation)

There is a 12 MP wide camera at back with f/1.8 aperture. It has a digital zoom capability of 5 times with Optical Image Stabilization. It gives portrait mode with advanced bokeh and Depth Control and it allows portrait lighting with six effects (Natural, Studio, Contour, Stage, Stage Mono, High-Key Mono).

It allows 3 times zoom in video recording with optical image stabilization(OIS). 4K video can be recorded at 24 fps, 30 fps and 60 fps, 1080P video can be recorded at 30 fps and 60 fps whereas 720P videos can be recorded at 30 fps only. Along-with this, it also features slow-motion video support for 1080p at 120 fps and 240 fps, time-lapse video with stabilization and cinematic video stabilization (4K, 1080p and 720p) with stereo recording.

It has a front camera of 7 MP with aperture of f/2.2. There is a portrait mode with advanced bokeh and Depth Control and similar six lighting effects can be seen (Natural, Studio, Contour, Stage, Stage Mono, High-Key Mono).

Pricing and Availability of iPhone SE (2nd Generation)

iPhone SE is available in three colours : Black, White and Product Red. It is available in three storage variants : 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB.

In USA, 64 GB variant costs $ 399, 128 GB variant costs $ 449 and 256 GB variant costs $ 549.

In India, 64 GB variant’s price is set at ₹ 42,500, 128 GB variant costs ₹ 47,800 and 256 GB variant is priced at ₹ 58,300. It is not available for order now in India but it’s has been listed in the website.
