On September 10, Apple unveiled their new iPhones, iPad, Watch series, TV service and many more in their annual fall launch event at Apple HQ in Cupertino, California. Let’s move forward and learn about the announcements and releases.
- Apple Arcade
The event started with Tim cook (CEO, Apple) talking about Apple Arcade, which is company’s subscription service for video games. Apple claims that Apple Arcade games are not available anywhere else. Apple Arcade will launch on September 19 and you’ll just have to shell out $4.99 per month for a family subscription. Apple Arcade will offer users a one-month free trial to promote the service, which is just awesome for those looking to check out the game collection.
- Apple iPad
The new, 7th-gen iPad improves upon the 9.7-inch 6th-gen iPad with a bigger 10.2-inch Retina display. It comes with the Apple A10 Fusion chipset which means it should be considerably more powerful than its predecessor. While Apple hasn’t announced availability for the new iPad, the company did announce that the new 7th-gen iPad will be available at a starting price of $329.
- Apple TV+
Apple also unveiled its video streaming service – Apple TV+ back in March. Apple might have been silent on the service ever since, but it has today revealed the price and availability details for Apple TV+. Apple TV+ will go live on November 1 and well again, you won’t have to shell out a ton. Apple has priced its video streaming service at $4.99 per month for a family plan, which is the same as Apple Arcade. You’ll be able to watch all the exclusive on Apple TV app across all of your devices. The company will offer a whole year of its subscription service for free to users who pick up a new iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV.
- Apple Watch series 5
Apple has launched the new Apple Watch Series 5 with a bunch of improvements over the Series 4 from last year. One of the biggest changes in the Series 5 is the addition of a new Always on Display which is finally now available on the Apple Watch.
