Iphone 11 pro, Watch series 5, iPad and many more

On September 10, Apple unveiled their new iPhones, iPad, Watch series, TV service and many more in their annual fall launch event at Apple HQ in Cupertino, California. Let’s move forward and learn about the announcements and  releases.

  • Apple Arcade

The event started with Tim cook (CEO, Apple) talking about Apple Arcade, which is company’s subscription service for video games. Apple claims that Apple Arcade games are not available anywhere else. Apple Arcade will launch on September 19 and you’ll just have to shell out $4.99 per month for a family subscription. Apple Arcade will offer users a one-month free trial to promote the service, which is just awesome for those looking to check out the game collection.

  • Apple iPad

The new, 7th-gen iPad improves upon the 9.7-inch 6th-gen iPad with a bigger 10.2-inch Retina display. It comes with the Apple A10 Fusion chipset which means it should be considerably more powerful than its predecessor. While Apple hasn’t announced availability for the new iPad, the company did announce that the new 7th-gen iPad will be available at a starting price of $329.

  • Apple TV+

Apple also unveiled its video streaming service – Apple TV+ back in March. Apple might have been silent on the service ever since, but it has today revealed the price and availability details for Apple TV+. Apple TV+ will go live on November 1 and well again, you won’t have to shell out a ton. Apple has priced its video streaming service at $4.99 per month for a family plan, which is the same as Apple Arcade. You’ll be able to watch all the exclusive on Apple TV app across all of your devices. The company will offer a whole year of its subscription service for free to users who pick up a new iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV.

  • Apple Watch series 5

Apple has launched the new Apple Watch Series 5 with a bunch of improvements over the Series 4 from last year. One of the biggest changes in the Series 5 is the addition of a new Always on Display which is finally now available on the Apple Watch.
The Watch will also come with compass, which users can add to their home screen as well. The Apple Watch Series 5 is available in multiple cases, Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Ceramic. The aluminum Series 5 Apple Watch will be available in silver, space gray, and gold. The stainless steel watch will be available in gold, space black, and polish colours.

The Apple Watch Series 5 starts at $399 for the GPS model, and $499 for the LTE model. The watch can be pre-ordered starting today itself, and will go on sale starting September 20.

  • iPhone 11 & iPhone 11 Pro

The iPhone 11 is the successor to last year’s iPhone XR, and it comes with the same 6.1-inch Liquid Retina LCD display. The iPhone 11 comes with the brand new A13 Bionic chipset and with a dual camera set-up this time. There’s a 12MP + 12MP ultra-wide camera set up on the back, along with the flash here. Up front, there’s the same notch, with all the Face ID tech packed inside it, alongside the 12MP selfie shooter.

Apple has priced the iPhone 11 at $699 for the base variant, and the phone will go on pre-order starting September 13, with sales set to begin on September 20.

The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are the successors to last year’s iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. The iPhone 11 Pro comes with the 5.8-inch OLED display and the iPhone 11 Pro Max comes with a 6.5-inch OLED display, same as their last year’s models. Apple has also put in the brand new A13 Bionic. The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max come with a triple 12MP camera set-up (wide + telephoto + ultra-wide). In front, there’s the same notch packing all the Face ID tech for unlocking your phone securely, alongside the 12MP selfie camera. Also, what you might be most excited about, is that Apple is bundling an 18W fast charger in the box.

Apple has priced the iPhone 11 Pro starting at $999 for the base variant, while the iPhone 11 Pro Max starts at $1099 for the base variant. The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will go on pre-order starting September 13, and will go on sale from September 20.
