When the best of two fields collaborate, the outcome is certainly something impeccable. This has been again witnessed. Discovery’s Into The Wild episode with Akshay Kumar and Bear Grylls has set new viewership records.

The show has become the most watched TV show of 2020 in the infotainment genre. Into the Wild has also turned out to be the second most watched TV show in the infotainment genre of all time. It seems like whatever the Bollywood superstar (Akshay Kumar) is touching is turning out to be gold.

The Khiladi of Bollywood proved in the show why he is called the fittest actor in the industry and is a born athlete. Akshay gave tough competition to Bear Grylls. The show was shot in Bandipur National Park and Tiger Reserve.

Into the Wild with Bear Grylls went on air on September 14 on Discovery Channel. The duo was seen spending some memorable moment. The actor introduced Bear to ‘Ayurvedic Balls‘ which seemed like Gond Ke Ladoo to Grylls and also defined, how it can useful for instant energy.

In the movies you have seen Akshay swimming in the rivers or jumping off the choppers. But this is the first time, the fans witnessed Akshay Kumar ziplining. Akshay’s heroic’s stunned Bear Grylls. The actor crossed a river full of crocodile and won over his fear.

The core of this show is to connect with the nature and everyone knows Akshay’s love for nature. Akshay Kumar is not man made in the gyms. At many instances the Sooryavanshi actor talked about how he believes in natural fitness like running, cycling and performing martial arts than just taking supplements.

Into the Wild with Bear Grylls is an upgraded version of ‘Man Vs Wild’ the favourite childhood show of the millennials. In August 2019, the show featured Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi where he was seen sharing his life experiences and learning the survival tricks from Bear Grylls. While earlier this year, Rajinikanth featured on the show and was shot on Karnataka’s Bandipur Tiger Reserve and National Park.
