International Yoga Day: ITBP personnel performs Yoga at an altitude of 18,000 feet

Ladakh. On the occasion of International Yoga Day, the ITBP(Indo-Tibetan Border Police) personnel who are deployed at Ladakh performs Yoga at an altitude of 18,000 feet in sub zero temperature.

Health is everything in current time and yoga helps us in being healthy both mentally & physically. Since 2014, the World is celebrating the International Yoga Day. Today it completed 6 successful years. With millions of people around the world, some of the big political leaders and celebrities are also participating and performing Yoga in their premises.

Yog guru Baba Ramdev performs yoga at the Patanjali Yogpeeth in Haridwar.

In Uttarakhand, the ITBP personnel who are deployed at India-China border also performs Yoga at an altitude of 14,000 feet at Vasundhara glacier near Badrinath.

Due to Coronavirus, in 2020 there are no big mass gathering of people like previous years to do yoga on this day but people didn’t restricted themselves. The internet is flooding with tweets, photos and videos of people doing yoga from their homes.
