India to Supply Lifesavings Drugs to Brazil and Spain

After USA, India ready to supply lifesavings drugs to Spain and Brazil.

India already fulfilling the requirements of neighbouring countries who are dependent on us for medicine.

India will supply lifesavings drugs to Spain such as Hydroxychloroquine, Official notification is likely to come soon, while India will supply raw materials to Brazil.

Brazil Pres Jair Bolsonaro in his address to the nation thanked PM Modi for helping Brazil with Hydroxychroloquine. He said, “As an outcome of my direct conversation with Indian PM, we’ll receive, raw materials to continue our production of Hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19”.

External and Foreign affairs Minister S. Jaishankar informed via tweet “Had a telephonic conversation with Spanish FM Arancha González, We agreed that effective COVID-19 response requires global cooperation. India has responded positively to urgent pharmaceutical requirement of Spain.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain Arancha González said “Thank you Dr S Jaishankar the good news that India will authorize the export of ingredients and pharmaceutical products to fight COVID19”.

Around 30 Countries in the world has asked India to supply Hydroxychloroquine.
Official of Helath Ministry has confirmed the nation that their is Sufficient stock of hydroxychloroquine available in country.
As of now Spain has 148,220 confirmed Coronavirus cases out of which 85,407 active cases. 14,792 deaths has been reported due to Coronavirus.

Spain reporting more than 5,000 cases per day and has death rate of more than 700 person per day. Spain is one of the highly infected country in Europe.

While Brazil conditions is better than Spain. Brazil confirmed 16,188 Coronavirus cases out of which 15,241 active cases. Brazil reported 820 Deaths from Covid-19.

Brazil reporting more than 2,000 cases every day and has 100 plus deaths every day.
