After USA, Spain and Brazil, India to export Hydroxychloroquine drugs to Israel.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanks Prime Minister Narendra Modi for sending Chloroquine to Israel.
In response to this Prime Minister Narendra modi said, “India is ready to do whatever is possible to help our friends”.
Israel is the most infected country in the West Asia. As of now Israel recorded 9,968 cases and death toll stands at 86. Israel reporting more than 500 Coronavirus Cases everyday.
Many countries in the world believing that Hydroxychloroquine drugs can neutralise the symptoms of Coronavirus (not proven), this is the reason they are trying to maintain appropriate stock Hydroxychloroquine drugs in their country.
When India Supply Hydroxychloroquine to Israel, PM Benjamin Netanyahu said in a tweet, “Thank you, my dear friend @narendramodi, Prime Minister of India, for sending Chloroquine to Israel.
All the citizens of Israel thank you!”.
In a response to this tweet PM Narendra Modi said, “We have to jointly fight this pandemic. India is ready to do whatever is possible to help our friends. Praying for the well-being and good health of the people of Israel. @netanyahu”.
While many opposition leaders started questioning these move by government. They are demanding that we should fullfil the demand of India first, before exporting the medicines to other nations.
Congress MP Sashi Tharoor said in a tweet, “Reports of Shortage in India as Govt exports scarce drug to fight #COVID19Pandemic: Does anyone remember the man who said “India First”?“.
On the other hand Health ministry says, India has stock of 3.28 crore Hydroxychloroquine tablets.
