Among many difficult things to crack when you are playing against Australia is getting out Steve Smith. Well, facing the tough Aussie bowlers have been a year-long cry. Ask Ravichandran Ashwin and he will show you how to crack the nut to get him out.
Well, Ashwin has now finally got the trick. He got Smith after bowling 265 balls and conceding 177 runs. The Indian off-spinner did Imran Tahir in Adelaide after his straight one took the edge of Smith’s bat to be caught by Rahane. Ashwin just celebrated the wicket of Smith the way Imran Tahir use to do. He just jumped in joy and ran to the ground.
Smith was dismissed on the score of 1 off 29 balls. Also, this is the first time he has scored less than 5 runs in 21 innings.

Earlier, India’s first innings was closed on 244 after they lost 4 quick wickets to add just 11 runs. With not too many runs on the board, Indian quicks came out all guns blazing. Umesh Yadav was handed the new ball who just wasn’t doing anything wrong. Bumrah and Umesh were going all the way hard at Aussies batsman and ultimately Bumrah drew the first blood by dismissing off Matthew Wade.
