For the first time in last 2 months, covid-19 cases in South Korea has been limited to single digit in one day.

South Korea reported just 8 case in just one day, which brings up the total infected cases to 10,661 and 234 total deaths.

Out of 8 cases, 5 were imported overseas, the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) said.

South Korea managed to control the spread of Covid-19 by taking right decisions at right time.

South Korea has done 559,109 total tests and they managed to conduct 10,905 test per million of people.

Rapid testing as well as Lockdown in right time makes South Korea able to neutralised the spread. As of now they has 2,385 active cases.

The COVID-19 death rate is just 2.19 percent, which is very impressive in compared to any other country in the world.

President Moon Jae-in on Sunday said South Korea’s progress gave hope that the COVID-19 is “surmountable”. Earlier this year, South Korea had Asia’s largest number of infections outside China, however, it has since been overtaken by other countries.

“The government will prepare for new daily lives and the new world order ‘post-COVID’ with the unified power of the citizens,” Moon said.
