This afternoon, GoAir spokesperson addresses this matter via tweet. He said “GoAir is trying to verify whether the person Asif Khan is associated with the airline. Go Air has zero tolerance policy and it is mandatory for all GoAir employees to comply with the company’s employment rules, regulation and policies, including social media behaviours“.

Moments ago, ANI posted an official statement made from GoAir on trainee officer’s alleged objectionable comments on social media. It says that “The airline doesn’t associate itself with personal views expressed by any individual or employee. With immediate effect, GoAir is terminating employment contract of trainee 1st Officer Asif Khan“.

Netizens are praising the airlines for their quick judgement and unbiased decision.
