Chinese smartphone company Gionee launched a new smartphone after a long gap. Though, it was launching the accessories softly on different E-Commerce platforms in India. Now, Gionee is trying to comeback in India with Gionee Max in smartphone industry. Newly launched smartphone targets the budget segmented audience. In near future, Gionee might launch smartphones at middle-range segment too.

Gionee Max Specifications

Gionee Max comes with the 6.1 inches HD+ (1560×720) display, having dew-drop notch. It has 2.5D Curved Glass Design for better in-hand feel. It serves the pixel density of 281 PPI.

In camera segment, Gionee Max features the dual rear camera : 13 MP primary lens with Bokeh Lens. For lighting, it has single LED flash at rear. Rear camera supports Night Mode, Beauty Mode, Slow Motion Video. Front facing camera has 5 MP lens on dew-drop notch.

For performance, it has Spreadtrum 9863A 1.6 GHz Octa-Core processor and IMG8322 GPU. It has 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. Storage can be expanded upto 256 GB using the dedicated memory card slot.

For connectivity, it has dual Nano SIM card slot, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, network type of 4G, 3G, 2G. Gionee Max serves the A-GPS for navigation.

It also provides the support of OTG, reverse charging, 3.5 mm headphone jack. It has Proximity Sensor, G Sensor and for security Max has Face Unlock and not the fingerprint scanner.

It gets packed with the 5000 mAh battery and gets charged with the help of Micro-USB port. It has dimensions of 148 × 70.9 × 10.75 mm. It weighs 185 grams.

It is priced at Rs 5,999 in India with three color options : Black, Red and Royal Blue.

It will be available for the first time on 31st August and can be purchased via Flipkart.
