On Twitter India, #FAUG is getting great attention as Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has shared the poster of FAU-G (Fearless and United-Guards). So, what exactly Fearless and United-Guards is? It’s an action game, being developed by nCORE Games that is funded by Vishal Gondal, CEO of GOQii. Surprisingly, Akshay Kumar is the brand ambassador of GOQii as well and now he has partnered with Mr. Gondal for the upcoming game FAU-G. In one of his today’s tweet, he has revealed the poster of the game.

FAU-G Poster is Stolen but from Where?

If you take a good look at the poster of the game and the actual image, you’ll find that there’s barely any difference. In the FAU-G poster, the colours were little bit changed and two circular Indian flags are improperly pasted on the body of the soldiers by doing some cheap editing to make it look Indian. If the poster was originally made by any graphics designer, no one could ever find a mistake in it.

The picture used in the poster of FAU-G is very much similar to the picture used on the poster of Today We Rise, a Song by the band named Collision Of Innocence. This song was premiered on May 23rd, 2020 in YouTube. And now, it’s available on YouTube, YouTube Music, Spotify, JioSaavn. But Collision of Innocence has not originated this picture. This picture was earlier used on 17th January, 2020 by FanaticalFuturist in their news article. And later on, it(FanaticalFuturist’s Edited Image) gone used by other publishers.

Actual picture is owned by a photographer, Phet Thai. In his Instagram account, he has posted this image (poster of FAU-G) on February 4th, 2019. He has 419 stock photos on Shutterstock. And probably, FAU-G’s developer nCORE Games has used his picture for the poster of game.

The sad part is that, nCORE Games/Vishal Gondal/Akshay Kumar have not given the due credit of the poster to the actual owner/creator. nCORE Games is going to use this image for commercial use, not for their personal use. So, it’s their responsibility to create something new if they are wanting to bring it between a large no. of users.

  1. The image was used after purchasing a license from shutterstock. So why do they need to give credits for that? They’ve bought the rights to use the photo.
