The Holy month of prayers and workship has arrived. On Friday evening, India welcomes Ramzan with prayers and wishes from the warmth of their houses.
Ramzan is a time for Humans to improve their spiritual relation with the almighty. They do several kind of workship for self-improvements. The holy month of Ramzan is mainly celebrated by Muslims all around the world. People who study Islam but are not Muslims, were also seen paying their devotion to the almighty to learn more about the tradition and culture. During Ramzan, people need to abstain themselves from eating any food, drinking any liquids, smoking cigarettes, sinful speeches and engaging in any sexual activity, from dawn to sunset.
Delhi’s Jama Masjid which is one of the largest mosque in India was illuminated on Ramzan. Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid, Syed Ahmed Bukhari said “I appeal to all, do not invite your neighbours to your house to offer prayers during Ramzan. Ensure, there are not more than 3 people in 1 room even while offering prayers with family. COVID19 will end only when we’ll unite”.
AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi said “I would like to appeal everyone not to offer prayers at mosques as curfew begins from 7 PM and nobody is allowed to leave their homes during this time. I would also appeal everyone to maintain social distancing”.
Walajah Big mosque in Triplicane area, Chennai, Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad, Telangana, almost every Mosques in Ranchi and several in Jammu and Kashmir remained closed on Ramzan. Shahid Choudhary, District Magistrate, Srinagar said in a report “This Ramazan is not the same anywhere in the world, but we are trying to make it less difficult in Srinagar. 50,000 Ramazan food/essentials kits are ready for dispatch:
