In match 21 of the Dream11 IPL 2020, KKR Stunned CSK to a surprising loss by 10 runs after they look well on course to win the match at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
A late comeback from KKR bowlers helps them to edge past CSK who never stepped a foot wrong except the last 10 overs of the match. After 90-1 in 10 overs, CSK were reduced to 129-5 in 17.1 overs chasing 168.
Twitter reacted harshly to Jadhav who was playing at the strike rate of 58.33. Jadhav took 6 balls to get off the mark. He scored 7 runs in 12 balls which became one of the talking things after CSK’s loss.
Shane Watson had a good start to the chase and he was looking in touch. However, after Ambati’s Rayudu departure, whole complexion of the match changed. Dhoni also failed to make an impact. He scored 11 runs from 12 balls before being bowled by Varun Chakravarty.
Everyone was questioning KKR captain Dinesh Karthik’s leadership skills but here Karthik proved them wrong with his tactics.
He brought Sunil Narine late into the attack and Andre Russell in the 18th over of the match.
Russell took a very important wicket of Sam Curran who departed after scoring 17 runs. Russell, Narine, and Varun brought bowled in the last 10 overs of the match to hand defeat to their rivals CSK.
Rahul Tripathi slams 81 after getting to open the innings
Rahul Tripathi proved once again why he’s best suited as an opener. His heroics helped KKR reached 167 runs mark.
He smashed 81 runs in 51 balls which included 3 sixes and 11 fours. He was made to open after his last match heroics against Delhi Capitals coming to bat at no.8. He made a quickfire 36 runs off 16 deliveries.
He was named the man of the match for his 81 run-knock. KKR now have played 5 matches in which they have won 3 and lost 2
