Ms Dhoni would mark his return to cricket since he last played any match in the semi-final of the 2019 World Cup against New Zealand.

There has been a lot of debate, rumours and speculations going on about his retirement but many of the cricket pundits think that he has a lot of cricket left in him.

Amidst this Kasi Viswanathan said he is not worried about MS Dhoni’s future at all and believes the skipper will play till 2022 for the three-time IPL champions.

“Yes. We can expect MS Dhoni to be part of both (IPL 2020 and 2021) and probably for even the next year. 2022,” Viswanathan was quoted as saying by India Today.

I am getting updates through the media only, saying he has been training in Jharkhand in indoor nets. But we don’t have to worry about the skipper, boss. We don’t worry about him at all. He knows his responsibilities and he will take care of himself and the team,” he added.

MS Dhoni will be returning to Chennai soon to train with his teammates in a short training camp that will be organised in the city for the players. The camp will be conducted from August 15 to 20 after the final approval from the Tamil Nadu government.
