Update: Coronavirus cases in India crossed 8,000 Mark with 273 deaths

With 909 new cases and 34 deaths reported in last 24 Hours, Coronavirus cases surpassed 8 thousands mark in India.

8.356 confirmed Coronavirus cases in India out of which 7,367 active cases, 715 discharged/cured/, 1 migrated case and total death toll stand 273 in the country.

According to ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) reports, A total of 1,79,374 samples from 1,64,773 individuals have been tested as on 11 April 2020, 9 PM IST. On 11 April 2020, till 9 PM IST, 17,143 samples have been reported. Of these, 600 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

ICMR said that in coming days India will be able to test 1 lakh citizens per day for Covid-19.

As of now Maharashtra is the most infected state in India with total 1761 positive cases and reported 127 deaths followed by capital of India, Delhi with 1069 positive cases and 19 deaths.

Tamil stand at third position with 969 positive cases and 10 deaths, 700 Covid-19 cases in Rajasthan with 3 deaths. Uttar Paresh 452 cases with 45 cured/discharged patients and 5 deaths.

Other 5 states crossed 200 cases in India includes, Gujrat with 432 cases, Andhra Pradesh with 381 cases, kerla with 364 cases and Madhya Pradesh reported 532 positive cases.

Jammu & Kashmir is second most Infected Union Territory of India with 207 confirmed cases while 15 confirmed cases from Ladakh.
