Class of ’83 trailer looks very strong and promising, Bobby Deol to cement his legacy with this film

The wait is over, Class of ’83 trailer starring Bobby Deol in lead is out now. The film is now all set to release on August 21, 2020 on Netflix. Class of ’83 is directed by Atul Sabharwal and is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.


The trailer of the film is looking very very strong both structurally and visually. The tone of 80s India is accurate to it’s presentation. All the lead cast are giving out their best in this film. Class of ’83 is a high scale action drama, which didn’t go over the top at any point. Bobby Deol is portraying the role of his career.

The film is based on Hussain Zaidi’s famous book The Class of 83. It tells the story of a policeman Dean Vijay Singh played by Bobby Deol, of the police academy who decides to punish the corrupt bureaucracy and its criminal allies in return by training five lethal assassin policemen. But his plans only works for a while until the fire that he has ignited threatens to burn his own house down.

The film is written by Abhijeet Deshpande, who earlier worked in films like Wazir and Natsamrat. The cinematography for this film is done by Mario Poljac and the music is given by Viju Shah. Other than Bobby Deol, the cast of Class of ’83 includes Vishwajeet Pradhan, Anup Soni, Joy Sengupta, Abhishek Bhalerao, Ravi Singh, Bhupendra Jadawat and more.

Earlier it was speculated that Aashram will mark Bobby Deol’s digital debut but as of now, it is clear that Class of ’83 will become Bobby’s first OTT project. Aashram is releasing on August 28 on MX Player, while Class of 83′ is set to release on August 21 on Netflix.
