Prime Minister of United Kingdom, Boris Johnson has been discharged from hospital. And he will be recovering at Chequers.
He was tested much before but he kept working and isolated himself. He was admitted to St Thomas’s hospital in London when he started showing heavy symptoms like cough and high temperature. He was admitted in Intensive Care Unit(ICU) on Monday(6th April, 2020) when his health started getting worse. He remained there on ICU till April 9th, 2020 and then moved to a ward.
Mr. Boris Johnson on April 6th said, ” Last night, on the advice of my doctor, I went into hospital for some routine tests as I’m still experiencing coronavirus symptoms. I’m in good spirits and keeping in touch with my team, as we work together to fight this virus and keep everyone safe.”
“I’d like to say thank you to all the brilliant NHS staff taking care of me and others in this difficult time. You are the best of Britain. Stay safe everyone, and please remember to stay at home to protect the NHS and save lives.”
Fiancee of PM Johnson, Carrie Symonds said, “I cannot thank our magnificent NHS enough. The staff at St Thomas’ Hospital have been incredible. I will never, ever be able to repay you and I will never stop thanking you.”
After getting discharge, Boris Johnson has tweeted where he thanked National Health Service (NHS) for saving his life.
