Scarlett Johansson starrer and the most awaited movie for Marvel fans “Black Widow”, theatrical release may get delayed, due to coronavirus. American media company Variety breaks this news in recently published article.
We have already seen big Hollywood movies like Universal’s “Fast & Furious 9” MGM’s James Bond installment “No Time to Die” and Paramount’s “A Quiet Place 2″ already delayed. Disney “Black Widow” now next in line due to Coronavirus pandemic.
Black Widow was set to hit the theatre in 1st May (30 April India released date). New dates aren’t officially confirmed yet but by the end of March, Marvel will confirm, is Black Widow getting delayed or not. Well their is strong chances that if the affects Coronavirus neutralise or gets in control then Black Widow may release on the same date or by the ned of May.
Companies like Disney and Netflix completely shuts down the production of Movies and Web Series due to Coronavirus. This shutdown costing heavy money to all the content producing companies.
If Black Widow release date gets delayed then this will can affect the entire timeline of MCU Phase 4. Black Widow is the first film of Marvel Phase 4.
After Black Widow, MCU going to release Web Series “Falcon” and the Winter Soldier, schedule in August, “Eternals” Movie in November and finally “Wanda Vision” web series before the year end. This year MCU is releasing 2 Movies and 2 web Series. Changing the date of Black Widow will definitely going to create problems for Marvel.
