Today Ayushmann Khurrana is a sign of success. His presence in a film makes the audience go gaga over him. Ayushmann, who is known for giving quality cinema in a very entertaining way has become audience favourite. Ayushmann has created his own legue, the star-studded system in Bollywood is very prominent, but Ayushmann has his own audience.

A young boy with spectacles in his eyes, saw a dream to make his mark in Bollywood. After working as a VJ and winning the second season of mtv roadies, his destiny was still far. After years of struggle, Ayushmann got his first break, he got to play Vicky, a sperm donor in Shoojit Sircar directorial Vicky Donor. The film was produced by John Abraham. Although not having a film background, Ayushmann got a great launch in his debut. The movie was a box-office hit and Ayushmann grabbed all the awards for his role as Vicky.

But things didn’t turned out as planned after giving such a big hit his next few films Hawaizaada, Nautanki Sala and Bewakoofiyaan doomed at box-office as well as the critics highly criticized the film. People had low expectations with Ayushmann’s next release Dum Laga Ke Haisha. The movie was produced by Yash Raj films, but the level of promotion that a Yash Raj films does was very low as compared to other films. The movie fared good at box office.

But the real turning point of his career was Bareilly Ki Barfi. When the two forces, Ayushmann Khurrana and Raj Kumar Rao came together the outcome was sure to be good. Bareilly Ki Barfi won audience hearts. Since then Ayushmann has been giving hits after hits Subh Mangal Savdhaan, Article 15, Dream Girl, Bala, Andhadhun.

With each film Ayushmann evolved as an actor. Ayushmann started choosing roles that a male lead hero is never expected to play, he started choosing subjects which a commercial cinema can’t offer and as the audience is evolving Ayushmann is being more and more accepted in such roles. Ayushmann always has something new to offer for his audience.

In the short career span Ayushmann has seen many highs and many lows, but what stayed with him is his ability to mesmerize his audience by his acting skill. Ayushmann Khurrana will be next seen in Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo which also stars Amitabh Bachchan.
